Ian just registered for the Passive House North conference and he is pretty excited. The conference is organized by the Canadian Passive House Institute and will be in Vancouver, BC this year. This years conference will be the first North American Passive House conference that is dedicated to cost-effective strategies for reducing building energy in cool climates.
Topics will include: affordability, cold climate challenges, large wood structures, multi-family housing, prefab construction, high-performance window design, heat recovery ventilation, airtightness testing and a consideration of the Passive House standard as a pathway to Net Zero Energy. The list of featured speakers is impressive as well, a Who’s Who of the Passive House community!
