Meet our new interior designer!
Do you follow Chuckanut Builders on social media? If so, you know we’ve been searching for an interior design project manager. Today I have good news for you. We hired for the position! Please welcome Sara Tomczak to the crew. She is taking over the position from Michelle Banks, who now runs Spiral Studios. Spiral Studio is an interior architecture firm. Chuckanut and Spiral Studios will continue to collaborate on future projects, building on their strong history of integrated design.
Before joining our crew Sara Tomczak worked as a project manager for Carletti Architects in Mount Vernon. Her professional experience in building design, project management and construction administration are going to make her an awesome asset.
Sara’s interest in building design and architecture started early. In junior high and high school she started taking architectural electives. She eventually pursued a Master’s degree in Architecture at the NewSchool of Architecture & Design in San Diego. Sara is currently in the process of obtaining a Washington State professional license as a Registered Architect. Like quite a few folks on our crew Sara is a Washingtonian. She moved to Whatcom County in 2013. When she’s not at ChuB Sara enjoys playing a variety of sports, working on house projects, hosting friends and family, and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
