Sustainable Connections, the Birthroot Midwives and Chuckanut Builders co-hosted an open house at the Birthroot Birth Center earlier this week and we had a great turnout! It is the first mid-project open house we’ve hosted and we realized how mysterious many of the mechanical elements are to folks that don’t work in the trade. We had fun chatting about the energy efficiency details involved in the project as well as meeting lots of babies! You can’t invite midwives to a party and not expect babies to show up! Special thanks to Kulshan Brewery and Chuckanut Brewery who both donated beer for the event!
