We recently built a green roof for a client and thought we’d share some photos of the finished the project. Mike built the roof and Northwest Rain Solutions installed the growing medium and vegetation. These clients are passionate about storm water management and in addition to the green roof they have a large rain garden and extensive native landscaping.
All of these methods are effective at reducing and managing stormwater on site while also looking great. In addition the roof can potentially reduce heating and cooling costs by improving insulation and UV absorption.
